It took me over an hour to create this palette. I reset the user profile and that fixed the 3 second delay, but I lost my carefully created custom color palette. This does not happen with the same 2 existing spreadsheets when opened in Open Office Calc, nor does anything similar happen in Libre Office writer. This happens with 2 different existing spreadsheets in Libre Office. This happens both with Auto Calculate on and off. Then when I select another cell, it takes 3 seconds for the highlighted box around that cell to appear, pressing a key takes the same 3 second delay, and so on.Ģ) If I select a cell and wait 3 seconds for the highlighted box to appear, then without entering any characters select additional cells, the highlighted box appears instantly each time.ģ) If I am in a cell and select the formula box at the top to edit that cell, there is a 3 second delay between clicking in the formula box and the cursor appearing in the formula box. While in that cell, I press a key, and it takes 3 seconds for the first character to appear additional characters within the same cell appear instantly. Today Libre Office spreadsheet starting the following new behavior:ġ) When I first select a new cell by mouse or arrow keys, the highlighted box around the cell appears instantly. I have been using Libre Office writer and spreadsheet successfully for 2 months. I recently changed from Open Office to Libre Office due to Open Office frequently crashing.
